In case you missed it, casting director Rene Haynes put out a call for Native American teens and young adults  (who look very youthful) interested in a role in the upcoming Twilight sequel ‘New Moon.’  Those of you just dying to be part of the Quileute tribe had your chance to submit a recent photo and contact information to info@rhcasting.com (you can get more details here). But if you missed that casting call, don’t fret, there may be another chance to get your audition. A mysterious ad on Craigslist Vancouver says Aikins/Cossey Casting is conducting a three city search for a Major Motion picture shooting from Mid-March to end of May. They are looking for young “FIRST NATIONS/ABORIGINAL ACTORS AND ACTRESSES BETWEEN THE AGES OF 15 and 25.”  Hmmm, sounds like casting call for New Moon doesn’t it? Check out the ad below:

Ok, so I live in Olympia (Washington) and I’ve enjoyed reading about all the places in the books that I’m familiar with and was wondering why the movies are not being filmed here in Washington State?? It makes no sense, would’nt the die hard Twilight fans want the movie to actually take place in Forks instead of “fake” Forks?? Yeah, they basically just flashed pictures of the town of Forks in the movie. So it would be nice to visit Forks and actually see where they filmed the movies but instead we just have to imagine what it’s like in the books. So fellow Twilighters lets protest because don’t you want the movies to be authentic??? I would think that Stephanie Meyer would like to see her books come to life where they belong-here in Washington State.
