- 10oz Wild Cherry Pepsi
- 2oz Chocolate Sauce
- Whipped Cream
Scoop Me off My Feet Deep
- TOSTITOS® SCOOPS!®
- TOSTITOS® All Natural Salsa (1 cup)
- 2 cups frozen sweet corn thawed
- 1/2 cup canned black beans (rinsed thoroughly)
- 1 bunch green onions diced
- 1/2 of Avocado sliced
- Juice of half a lime
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
Yield: 14 cupcakes
Ingredients:
For the cake:
2 cups cake flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/3 cups sugar
1/2 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature
2 large egg whites
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 cup buttermilk
For the filling:
1 can cherry pie filling
For the frosting:
7 oz. pure white chocolate, coarsely chopped
6 oz. cream cheese, at room temperature, cut into tablespoon-sized pieces
6 tbsp. unsalted butter, at room temperature, cut into tablespoon-sized pieces
Directions:
To make the cupcakes, preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Line 14 cups of muffin tins with paper liners.
In a small bowl, combine the cake flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Stir together with a fork. Set aside. In the bowl of an electric mixer, combine the sugar and butter and cream on medium-high speed until light and fluffy, about 2 minutes. Mix in the egg whites one at a time, scraping down the bowl between additions. Stir in the vanilla extract. Add in the dry ingredients in three additions alternately with the buttermilk, beginning and ending with the dry ingredients. Stir just until combined, being careful not to overmix.
Divide the batter evenly between the prepared muffin cups. Bake for 16-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Allow to cool in the pans for 5 minutes. Transfer to a wire rack and allow to cool completely.
To prepare the filling, puree the can of cherry pie filling using an immersion blender, blender, or food processor.
Once the cupcakes are completely cooled, cut a cone out of the center of each using a small paring knife. Cut off the point side of each cone, leaving a thin disc of cake to replace over the filling. Spoon just enough of the cherry filling into the hole to fill it, and cover by replacing the disc of cake on top. Repeat with remaining cupcakes.
To prepare the frosting, in a double boiler, melt the white chocolate, stirring constantly, until smooth and creamy. Let stand until just warm to the touch. In the bowl of an electric mixer, beat the cream cheese and butter on medium-high speed until smooth and blended. Add the melted chocolate and beat again until smooth.
Frost the cupcakes immediately. Using a bamboo skewer dipped in the left over cherry filling, poke two holes into the top of each cupcake to resemble bite marks. Trace a line of cherry filling from each hole to the edge of the cupcake to resemble dripping blood. Repeat with remaining cupcakes.
If stored in the refrigerator, allow to come to room temperature before serving.

The DVD release of “Twilight” is this weekend, and stores are planning a few midnight parties to celebrate the release. Here’s what to expect at each location:
“Twilight” fans are invited to Borders stores nationwide March 20 as the retailer rolls out the red carpet beginning at 10 p.m. to host special “Twilight” DVD release parties featuring the “Borders Twilight Movie Awards,” created in collaboration with Summit Entertainment, the film’s producers. The movie’s biggest fans will select the winners of the “Borders Twilight Movie Awards” at each Borders store in 10 categories, such as “Best Bella-Edward Moment,” “Best Vampire” and “Best OME (Oh My Edward) Moment.” To cast their votes, fans simply download a ballot at www.bordersmedia.com/twilight complete it and bring it with them to the midnight release party. Award category winners will be announced at the end of the evening, but not before fans can view a specially created DVD from Summit Entertainment featuring an exclusive videotaped message from the “Twilight” cast welcoming everyone to their local “Borders Twilight Movie Awards” ceremony. All movie ballots collected will be entered into a “Moments of Twilight Raffle,” sponsored by Summit Entertainment.
- In addition to the “Borders Twilight Movie Awards,” fans will have a great time enjoying a host of activities designed specifically for die-hard “Twilight” followers:
- Vampire Baseball-themed “Twilight” Trivia Sponsored by Twilight Lexicon — Fans won’t need a bat, ball or superhuman strength to participate in this event. Two teams will go head-to-head in nine innings of mind-twisting “Twilight” trivia. In the bonus “Grand Slam Lightning Round,” fans can really show their “Twilight” prowess when they answer trivia questions supplied by Twilight Lexicon. At the end of the game, one MVP — “Most Vampiric Player” — will be selected from each team.
- “Twilight” Scavenger Hunt — Twilighters should come prepared to scour their Borders store for “Twilight”-themed clues. A passion for winning and an extensive knowledge of all things “Twilight” are requirements for this “vampirific” activity that is sure to get the adrenaline pumping.
- “Moments of Twilight Raffle” Drawing Sponsored by Summit Entertainment — Just before the “Twilight” DVD officially goes on sale, Borders will draw 10 winning ballots from all who entered locally and present each person who submitted the ballot with an exclusive photo card provided by Summit Entertainment. Each photo card, direct from the Borders exclusive “Twilight” DVD, features an iconic image of the “Twilight” cast from the movie. Raffle winners will be encouraged to share their favorite “Twilight” movie moment with the crowd of fans gathered at the store.
You have to pre-order your DVD copy of Twilight to attend this party, but if you’re in, you could be the lucky winner of a Taylor Lautner signed poster. One lucky customer from each store will have the chance to win it.

Twilight Extended Scenes all in one clip
March 7, 2009 by twilightfangs
I found this clip with a bunch of extended scenes, which was awesome, but I was really disappointed with how little they show. The clip consists of a few extended scenes that include:

“Are people talking about the Cullens again?” -Bella’s first day in school, she’s at the diner with her Dad and is fishing for more information about the Cullens. She offers to cook for him, he asks about school, and she asks him about the Cullens.
“James, let’s not play with our food.”-You get to see more of the bad vampires as they attack Weyland. The scene shows the vampires attacking Wayland, biting his arms, and then you see his boat drifting into a fog-filled lake as the vamps walk towards the camera.
“You don’t know how it’s tortured me “-Extended meadow. It scene. It starts with Edward saying, “You don’t know how long I’ve waited for you. And so the lion fell in love with the lamb….” They both kneel, and he says “If I ever hurt you. I couldn’t live with myself. You don’t know how it’s tortured me.” Then Bella says, “Edward, I’d rather die than to stay away from you.” In the next scene, he touches her face, and both lay down and stare at each other. Camera circles around them. End of scene.
“A hundred years worth of journals”-Edward’s bedroom. Hardwicke says they felt they needed to explain a lot of the cool details and how Edward’s room was. In this scene, Bella walks into the room and says “You realize how cool this is.” He shakes his head, then camera goes back to Bella who is looking at a table full of books. She opens a book and asks “Is it a hundred years worth of journals?” Edward replies, “Yeah, um, I wouldn’t read that..unless you have trouble sleeping. You can if you want.” They talk about the lack of a bed, then she picks up a small rain stick and tells Edward how her and her mom used to make rain sticks out of chinchilla droppings. Nice! Then they talk about Debussy.
“Don’t read Charlie’s mind”- Longer scene between Edward and Bella before the baseball game. As they walk to the Jeep, Edward tells Bella, “It’s funny, your father thinks you go to an all-girl school.” She then replies with “That’s not fair, don’t read Charlie’s mind.”

Bella’s womb gets felted
March 3, 2009 by twilightfangs
I admit, I’m not a fan of “Breaking Dawn” mainly because of the gross details of Bella’s condition after the honeymoon (if you know what I mean). I figured most Twilighters would want to forget the gory, gruesome details of that ordeal, but alas, I am dead wrong. One fan went so far as to recreate Bella’s womb with felt. Yuck! Cinematical came across what could very well be the creepiest fan made object ever created. What do you think?
