Twihard teen bites 11 female students

Boston isn’t the only one with a vampire problem. Des Moines Register reports that a 13-year-old boy at the De Moines school has allegedly bitten 11 female students from February 10 to March 13, and his father blames it on Twilight. The boy bit one of the girls at a track meet, and when the vice principal investigated the incident, she found out that others in the school had been bitten by the young teen vampire wannabe. The police were involved, and the boy was given a delayed referral to juvenile court on an assault charge.

Vampire scare at Boston Latin leaves everyone confused

Did you guys hear about this one? According to The Boston Globe, Boston Latin School, a 400-year-old public school, is getting a lot of media attention lately due to rumors that vampires and werewolves walk amongst its alumni.

It seems the whole thing started when a couple of Twilight obsessed fangirls accused a fellow student of cutting someone’s neck and sucking her blood. Sadly, the crazy rumors don’t end there. Another student told the Boston Globe that a male student rumored to be a werewolf, wrote on Facebook that he would bring a gun to school because he was being harassed.

Apparently, the kids in Boston Latin  have lost it and are doing crazy things like carrying umbrellas to avoid exposure to the sun, and claiming to be “half-vampires” that drain their own blood to make their skin pale.  The police department and school faculty had to eventually step in to end the nonsense.  The school even emailed parents to reassure them that their kids were safe, and the school free of  vampires, but not mean kids:

“It has come to my attention that rumors involving ‘vampires’ began spreading through the building yesterday. I am very concerned that the safety of certain students may be jeopardized as targets of rumors and speculation. Please alert any adult in the building if you feel that any student is being harassed or targeted.”

Silly kids! But seriously, isn’t this how the whole Salem witch trials got started? Good thing a lot has changed since then.

Solomon Trimble (Sam Uley) will be at Walmart in Oregon

Ok, so maybe he’s not your favorite wolf-man/ shape-shifter in the Twilight Saga, but if you live in Oregon and plan to attend the DVD release party make sure you pack a digicam so you can take snapshots Solomon Trimble and a few other Twilight cast and crew members.  The Casting Scoop, says Jeff Feller (who shot the behind-the-scenes videos), Propmaker Bill Berkhert Jr, Oregon Casting Director Lana Veenker, Frat Boys Alex Mendeluk and Sean McGrath from the Port Angeles scene, Ayanna Berkshire (Cora at the Culver Café), Catherine Grimme  (Young Bella in the ballet school scene), Trish Egan( the High School Administrator), and fan favorite Solomon Trimble of the Quileute tribe will be at the Wood Village Walmart this Friday.  Fans will have to stand in line starting at 8pm and bring ONE item to be signed.  Check out the blog for more details.

Dear Twilighters, if you’re not attending a Twilight DVD release party this weekend, then you might miss out on catching a glimpse of one of the Twilight actors. Jaime Kennedy says Jennifer Love Hewitt is his Bella

I actually watch ‘Ghost Whisperer’ because I tend to watch shows about  the supernatural,  and of course, I’m a closet fan of Jennifer Love Hewitt (I love her hair and outfits on the show). Turns out Jaime Kennedy is also a huge fan of his co-star too and has been dating her for some time. The couple denied rumors of their relationship for some time, but yesterday Jaime came clean on the Ryan Seacrest radio show.  OMG! has all the gossip goodness, but my favorite moment is when he makes a reference to Twilight.

“We have an intense connection,” he said. Making a Twilight reference, he added, “She’s my Bella. I don’t want to bite her neck, but I want her to live.”

Ah! JK is not the most handsome guy on earth, but who can resist a Twilight-reading guy? Good for her!

Twilight Director to Give Backstage Scoop

March is going to be a great month for Twilight fans! Catherine Hardwicke is releasing a book about her time as the director of the Twilight movie!

Little, Brown Books for Young Readers, the division of Hachette Book Group, will release “Twilight: Director’s Notebook” on March 17 — only four days before the DVD hits shelves.

The book is said to reveal details about casting, location scouting, wardrobe and her favorite scenes. Of course it will also have behind- the-scenes info and pictures. “Twilight: Director’s Notebook” will replicate Hardwicke’s personal notebook that she kept on set.

President Obama and Malia: The MTV Movies Blog says US Weekly reports that President Obama and his young daughter Malia often bond over addictive book series. “They read all the Harry Potter books together and have moved on to the Twilight series.” Hmmmm.
